"The Right of Wrong" examines how we choose our course of action. Whose interests do we defend? Faculty? Staff? Student? The Institutions? The lines are blurred even in the best of times, but when facing tough decisions, what tools help you navigate through the minefield ahead? This program looks at the decision processes we go through when there are no clear, easy decisions.

Scenes Included in the Program

SHIFTING STANDARDS
This "catch-22" vignette touches on the constant flux of policies and procedures for ethical behavior and the restrictions on productivity their enforcement implies.

ETHICAL SUICIDE
This football coach's ethical code justifies everything but defying the letter of the law.

LESSER OF TWENTY EVILS
An overburdened employee questions the seriousness of an occasional lapse in work ethic versus losing her job.

THE SHADOWLANDS
This series of vignettes illustrates situations wherein the seduction of unethical behavior seems too powerful to resist.

HISTORY
One of our most popular vignettes satirizes a self-centered CFO as he cuts back the workforce without regard for the ethical questions involved. To soften the blow, he sings a parody of Sam Cooke's "History".

HURT
Here we see how strong lessons in ethical behavior early in life can support mature decision making when temptation arises.
